‘Financial fitness is a pivotal aspect in everyone’s lives’
Financial Adviser Jeremy Martin joined MWA Financial Advice in 2024 via our Future Buyout Programme after spending 25 years building his business Liberty IFA in Kent. While moving a business into another organisation can feel like a large undertaking, with many factors to consider, our well-trained team are passionate about making the transition process a positive experience.
MWA Financial Advice understands the importance of a smooth succession plan for Independent Financial Advisers and our bespoke Future Buyout Programme is designed to meet individual needs, ensuring a seamless transition whether retirement is imminent or still a few years away.
Here, Jeremy shares his reasons for choosing MWA Financial Advice and explains his approach to financial advice...
Why did you choose MWA for your succession plan?
I have built a career making sure my clients are set up for financial success in their retirement and it is important to apply that same mentality to my own future. Having built a successful business I want to ensure that my clients and business are continued to be looked after for many years to come with the same values and hard work behind the efforts to meet their goals.
What set MWA aside from other IFAs?
It was important to me to find a succession plan where my clients would be at the heart of future decisions. I feel MWA will care about their futures as I have. It is not one size fits all and a bespoke onboarding with plenty of support was a strong persuading factor.
How would you describe the support from the team so far?
The transition has been a major undertaking, though the support from everyone has exceeded expectations.
What is your approach to providing financial advice?
As a financial adviser I am genuinely interested in finding out about a client and their goals. This allows me to provide a holistic advice service based on their best interests. With 25 years of experience and specialising in retirement planning I aim to provide no nonsense, simple, thought through and above all FAIR advice.
Why is financial advice important?
Financial fitness is a pivotal aspect in everyone’s lives. Handing away the stress of this to a financial adviser can be a huge relief knowing that your best interests are reviewed regularly, and you have the best outcome financially for your needs. Financial matters and tax implications can be tricky but financial advice can protect you from any potential pitfalls and make you far more likely to achieve your goals without the stress.
